According to the New York Times there were 263,000 jobs added in the U.S. for the month of April. The unemployment rate is at 3.6%. Also, the average hourly earnings rose by 0.2 percent. Check out the article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/03/business/economy/jobs-report-april.html
