  • Block out disctractions. Turn of notifications to social media.
  • Allow for a buffer in your schedule. This will allow you time if meetings run long or if a project lasts longer that anticipated.
  • Break down tasks. Break down your tasks so that you can get an idea of what steps you will need to take to accomplish your goal.
  • Take notes. Don’t rely on your memory for important details or deadlines. Write them down so that you can go back to the details if needed.
  • Prioritize. Make sure that you get the most important thing done first.
  • Take breaks. You can’t work all day long and be productive. Take small breaks throughout the day to help get you through the day.
  • Don’t procrastinate. When you first get a project, start working on it right away. That way you will get a sense of how long the project is going to take you.
