Today’s blog is from Points To Ponder in the June issue of Reader’s Digest. Not only is the quote regarding jobs, it is from the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, who is now one of the current presidential candidates – Carly Fiorina. This quote is from her book Rising to the Challenge: My Leadership Journey.
“When young people ask me what it takes to get ahead, I tell them to get a job, any job, because there is dignity in all work. When someone has a job, they not only have a sense of purpose, they learn the habits and skills necessary to get a better job.”
