Keeping Associates Engaged

Happy employees getting the recognition they deserve.

Fall of 2021 will be known as the great resignation.  For the first time in history, employees are realizing that the stress of employment does not necessarily equate to a positive work life balance and are leaving the workforce in droves. In fact, 4 million people quit their positions in August of 2021 alone.

So what is Integrated Staffing doing to keep our employees satisfied and engaged during these tough hiring times?

  1. Prioritizing Mental Health-Integrated staffing has partnered with UCM health care services to provide virtual medicine to all employees at no cost.
  2. Hosting virtual events-Integrated Staffing continues to engage remote workers by hosting virtual events and coffee chats in coordination with mailing random gift cards two associates.
  3. Sending weekly congratulations.
  4. Benefits for everyone-All Integrated Staffing associates are eligible for 401K and all other benefits, not just internal employees.
  5. Cider Donut giveaways
  6. Snacknation snack packages-Partnering with Snacknation, Integrated Staffing sends care packages randomly to associates.
  7. Water Bottles and other logo items giveaways
  8. Weekly, monthly and quarterly check-ins.
  9. Rethinking compensation strategies-during the height of the pandemic, Integrated Staffing raised all pay rates and has continued that policy.
  10. Promoting permanency-it is Integrated Staffing’s policy to encourage permanent placement of our associates. We believe that our positions should be building block to permanent employment
  11. Attitude of gratitude-Feeling appreciated is key for temporary workers to be engaged.  A genuine ‘thank you’ makes a huge difference to help people feel valued.
