Spring is coming. With that comes warmer weather and warmer weather means ICE CREAM!  According to local food blog, 518-Sites-and-Bites, there are a bunch of seasonal ice cream places that have recently announced opening days!!!!

Is anyone else tired of this snow and cold weather and ready for cold ice cream? Well, some of your favorites have already opened and others are not that far behind!

NOTE: These do not include places to get ice cream that are open year-round, this list is of seasonal locations or seasonal “ice cream windows.” When it says “yet to announce” that is based on social media and website postings. If you know otherwise, feel free to message me to update.

• Jericho Drive-In and Twist, Glenmont opened on February 12th
• Jim’s Tastee Freez, Delmar has already opened
• Chrissy’s Cravings, Schaghticoke has apparently already opened
• Marcella’s Restaurant, Glenville has already opened their ice cream window
• Dairy Haus Ice Cream, Saratoga announced their opening will be March 6th
• Grandstand Ice Cream, Rotterdam will be opening March 11th
• Summer’s Best, Johnstown will be opening March 12th
• Udderly Delicious, Johnstown will be open March 12th
• Martha’s Dandee Creme, Queensbury will be opening on March 13th
