Labor Signs in the Capital Region Looking Good!

The Capital Region gained 3700 jobs over the past year.  That was the greatest among the metros in upstate’s 52 counties.  Long Island and NYC did outpace the Capital Region’s five counties but the private sector job growth in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga and Green counties pushed local performance.

In fact, manufacturing added 700 jobs!  A record not seen in 13 years!

Worker’s Compensation rates to drop!
