The U.S. economy gained 295,000 jobs in February, the 13th consecutive month employers added more than 200,000 to their payrolls. Meanwhile the unemployment rate dropped to 5.5%. The labor market continues to tighten and more employees are making changes in their employment.
Over the past 12 months, 3.3 million more Americans have gotten jobs. More jobs and lower gas prices have led many consumers to step up spending. That’s boosting the economy, offsetting sluggish economies overseas and giving employers the confidence to hire.
Integrated Staffing is proud to be a part of this continued job growth. In January and February of 2015, Integrated Staffing placed 33 employees in permanent positions at our client companies. Given that first quarter is notoriously the quietest of the year in regards to job growth, it is exciting to see these historic job gains continue.
